At home: Keep working on website.  No class next week.  Post in Google Community about sound/audio tools.  See you 11/5!

Week Eight - 10/15/13

In class: Notetaking Tools - take notes about the notetaking tools using a different notetaking tool.  Tom to share WordPress 101 and IFTTT.  Hayley to demo Explain Everything. 

At home: Continue to work on website and explore and create using eBooks Creation Tools using iBook Authors, Creator/Creative Book Builder/Pubs, etc.

Week Seven - 10/8/13

In class: Web 2.0 tools

At home: Explore and create using Notetaking tools

Week Six - 10/1/13

In class: Share curation tools, talk out assignment ideas and website assignment:

At home: Explore and create using Web 2.0 tools: Find a tool that you haven't used before!

Week Five - 9/24/13

In class: Share screencasting tools

At home: Explore and create using Curation Tools including Pinterest, MentorMob, Symabloo, LiveBinders, Diigo, Delicious, etc.

Week Four - 9/17/13

At home: Explore and create using a presentation tool.

In class: With a partner, share your presentation tool and teach your partner how to use the tool.  Your partner will present your presentation to the class.  We will also go over assignments in the syllabus and sign up for screencasting tools for next week: iPad Screencasting and Desktop Screencasting.

Week Three - 9/10/13

At home: Explore Social Media Tools including Group Tweet, Twitter, Today’s Meet. TogetherLearn, ifttt, etc.

In class: Make sure you signed up and start following each other on Twitter! Skype with @MrBrotheron about #MathLiteracy and #MinecraftEdu in the classroom and check out his website! Be ready to ask and tweet him questions!
Play and share Social Media Tools, and we'll start tweeting using #usjct and #pst_USJ!  Pick a #ntchat to participate in this month and write a reflection on the chat!  Additional #ntchat resources on Pinterest and Google Plus.

*SmartBoard resource, Smart Tools webinar in 9/11 @ 4:30, follow Smart Technologies on Twitter, search Twitter using #smartnotebook for ideas.

For next week: Create a presentation!  
At home: Explore and create a presentation using Presentation Tools including Prezi, Keynote, HaikuDeck, ThingLink, SlideShare, Edcanvas, SlideRocket, VoiceThread, 30Hands, BiteSlide, etc.
